Please join us for the XIth Congress of the International Society of Bone Morphometry, taking place from May 28 - 30, 2009, at the Ferry Porsche Congress Center in Zell am See, Austria.

Bone morphometry is an essential element of many clinical and animal studies designed to assess how bone cells function and respond to a variety of influences, such as hormones, cytokines, and growth factors as well as drugs given to treat bone or other diseases.

At the XIth Congress of the ISBM in Zell am See, the most recent advances in bone morphometry will be presented along with sessions on bone quality, new frontiers in imaging techniques for bone and cartilage, disorders of mineral homeostasis, osteoimmunology, regenerative therapy of bone and cartilage diseases, skeletal fragility, and morphometry in Orthopedics and Dentistry. In addition, a one-day, hands-on practical course in bone morphometry will be offered.

The Ferry Porsche Congress Center is a newly built congress facility right in the center of tourism Mecca Zell am See-Kaprun, providing state-of-the-art technical equipment and first-rate aesthetic décor.
